Twitter Trick For Viral Exposure

How To Get More Social Engagement On Your Blog Posts With This Super Ninja Twitter Trick!

Do you want more social engagement on your blog posts?

Then keep reading!!!

I’ll now share with you a super ninja Twitter trick I learned in one of the marketing masterminds I’m a member of.

It’s about using Twitter to

  •   get “viral” exposure
  •   get massive post engagement (=residual leads)
  •   and lots of social shares (=better search ranking since Google likes that!)

It’s actually super easy to implement.

Go to: ClickToTweet.com and click on “Sign in with Twitter to get started”.

You must have a Twitter account to do this, so sign up for that first if you don’t have one (it’s free).

Then what you do is that you quote a “celebrity” in your niche, the celebrity must have a big following on Twitter.

As you probably know: People LOVE to share quotes on social media!

Then you simply add the quote on your blog.

Below the quote you add a link saying: “Click here to tweet this quote”. Then you connect with his or her twitter account by adding their Twitter name and your Twitter name.

By doing that:

You’ll show up on the celebrity’s Twitter feed, which means potential MASSIVE exposure for your blog post!

I’ll give you an example to clarify.

Let’s say I’m in the fitness and weight loss niche (which is actually my main niche…!)

And let’s say I create a blog post about “How To Transform Your Body In 4 Weeks” and I want to get lots of social engagement on this post.

The next step is to think of a suitable “celebrity” in the fitness and weight loss niche, and I decide to go for Jillian Michaels, a well-known fitness and weight loss celebrity with more than 1 Mio. followers on Twitter…!

Now I need to find something catchy she has said, so I can check out her blog, social media sites or just Google it.

For this example, I googled “quotes by Jillian Michaels” and from all her quotes I found, I choose “Transformation Isn’t A Future Event It’s A Present Day Activity”.

I choose this quote because it’s relevant for my niche and blog post content.

The next steps are:

1) go to the dashboard of ClickToTweet

2) in the box “Message you would like tweeted” I type in the quote: “Transformation Isn’t A Future Event It’s A Present Day Activity” (note Twitter’s space is for 140 characters only)

3) then I add Jillian’s and my Twitter names: @JillianMichaels @CarolineK_319) and I choose the option “open in new window”

4) add the URL link of my blog post (to save space, I shorten long blog URLs with Bitly.com)

5) click on Create (on the left side), then you’ll find the URL up in the right hand corner that you copy and hyperlink on your blog post or an image

Now when someone clicks on “tweet this quote” my tweet will show up on Jillian Michaels’ Twitter feed, in front of her big Twitter following and audience!

This audience is super targeted for my blog post about body transformation and weight loss!

Just note: Your quote and the celebrity must be congruent with your niche, and your blog post content must be relevant for the celebrity’s audience.

The celebrity gets credit for his / her quote, so as long as your content is relevant I’m sure they don’t mind you quoting them!

You can also link to an image, and you can also use it on your own quotes.

Let me know if you have any questions and the results if you decide to test this strategy!
